Who are Oven Klenz?
We are an independent family run company who specialise in the cleaning of domestic ovens, hobs, agas and ranges.
We also clean fridges fridge/freezers, dishwashers and washing machines. We are been in business since 2006 and in that time have cleaned hundreds of cookers. Being members of the Association of Approved Oven Cleaners we can also draw on experience dating back to 1998.
Why should I use Oven Klenz?
It’s a dirty job, Why do it yourself ? Oven cleaning is a chore, it’s diffiucult and off the shelf products often smell unpleasant and may contain hash chemicals. Our technicians are trained to clean all ovens from small single ovens up to large four oven agas. They are fully insured and CRB checked for your peace of mind.
What products do Oven Klenz use?
We only used tried and tested methods of cleaning and being members of the Association of Approved Oven Cleaners, our products have been used on thousands of ovens successfully. Our staff only use non caustic products in your home, which are boidegradable and environmentally friendly. Therefore there is NO SMELL AND NO MESS
Do I need to supply anything, Newspapers to cover the floor?
No we come self contained as it were. We cover the floor where we work with thick dust sheets to protect it from any debris we take out of the oven All we ask is there is an electrical supply available so we can plug in tools from our vehicle and, a water supply as we need a small amount of water to clean and rinse with.
Do your operators carry spares?
AlL our staff carry replacement bulbs and a selection of extractor filters. We used to carry a selection of universal door seals but found them to be as expensive as most original parts so we no longer carry them. If you require and specialist spares our staff are happy to assist in any way we can and if necessary will assist in the order the parts for you through recognised suppliers.
Do you clean the glass doors?
Yes. Some doors are sealed units but if the door comes apart, then we split them down so we can clean both sides of each glass panel.
How long does it take?
Usually about 1hour for a standard single oven. Larger range style cookers and Agas can take up to 3 hours.
Do you charge depending on how dirty the oven is?
No. We have a fixed price system in place. So we can quote you over the phone after asking a few simple questions to identify the size and style of oven you have.
Why should I get someone else to clean my oven ?
It’s a dirty job, why do it yourself? Cleaning your oven is a chore that few people like doing, but it is a necessary one. We ensure that your oven is cleaned of any food spills and splashes that can cause smoke and if left to build up will even set off the fire alarm. An accumulation of grease in extractors is known to be a fire hazard. Lingering food spills will also taint other meals being cooked in your ovens. We are also able to help you create the right impression when selling your home by presenting your kitchen with a beautifully cleaned oven. Similarly many landlords use our service to ensure that tenants maintain the standards of hygiene that the landlord requires.
How often should I have my oven cleaned ?
Obviously this depends on how much it is used. Generally speaking we recommend once or twice a year. Not only does it reduce the build up of grease and fat that if not removed could cause a fire in the oven, but it also stops it tainting the food you will next be cooking.
We accept payment by way of cash or cheque on completion of the clean. If your making the booking on behalf of a business, we can invoice your payment.
How soon can i use my oven after cleaning?
Immediately. Your oven is ready for use straight away as we don’t use any chemicals.
